This Acceptable Use Policy (the "AUP") is part of the agreement between you and [ COMPANY NAME ] (the "Company") and supplements our Terms of Service. It applies to your use of the Creou website, application and API (the "Service"). Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination, removal of content, reversal of credits, and reporting to law-enforcement or regulatory authorities.
1. Prohibited content
You must not use the Service to upload, generate, store or distribute:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content that sexualises minors. Suspected CSAM is reported to the U.S. National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to competent Danish and EU authorities and is treated as a zero-tolerance matter.
- Non-consensual intimate imagery ("NCII"), including AI-generated digital forgeries depicting an identifiable person in a sexually explicit context without that person's verifiable consent. This is prohibited under U.S. federal law (TAKE IT DOWN Act, 18 U.S.C. § 2252C) and corresponding EU and Danish provisions.
- Deepfakes or synthetic depictions of identifiable real people (including public figures and minors) without that person's express, informed and verifiable consent, or where the depiction is reasonably likely to deceive viewers as to the person's actual conduct, statements or beliefs.
- Sexual or pornographic content of any kind, including content designed primarily for sexual arousal.
- Election or political deception — synthetic media intended to materially mislead voters about candidates, officials, ballot questions or election processes.
- Hate speech, incitement to violence, terrorism, targeted harassment, doxxing, or threats against any person or group.
- Material that infringes third-party rights, including copyrights, trademarks, rights of publicity or personality, trade secrets or confidentiality obligations.
- Scams, fraud, phishing, malware, or content designed to facilitate illegal financial schemes.
- Content that is otherwise unlawful under Danish, EU or other applicable law (including the law of the recipient's jurisdiction where you intend the content to be received).
2. Likeness, name and biometric data
You may only upload images, video or audio depicting another person if you hold their express, informed and verifiable consent for the specific use you are making, and (for minors) the verifiable consent of a parent or legal guardian. By submitting such content you confirm you hold those consents and you indemnify the Company against any claim brought by the depicted person or their representative.
Use of the Service to violate the Tennessee ELVIS Act, California right-of-publicity law (Cal. Civ. Code § 3344), the New York Civil Rights Law §§ 50–51, or any analogous statute is strictly prohibited.

- Using the Service to develop, train or improve any competing generative-AI product, where prohibited by upstream provider terms.
- Reselling, sublicensing, transferring or otherwise making the Service available to third parties except as expressly permitted by written agreement with us.

4. Disclosure of synthetic content
