[ COMPANY NAME ] ("we") complies with the U.S. TAKE IT DOWN Act (Pub. L. 119-12, 18 U.S.C. § 2252C) and corresponding Danish, EU and other applicable laws governing non-consensual intimate imagery and AI digital forgeries. If you appear in (or are a recognised representative of an individual who appears in) content on the Creou website, application or API and the content was published, generated or stored without that individual's consent, you may request immediate removal using the procedure below.
1. What we remove on this notice
- Authentic intimate visual depictions of an identifiable individual published without that individual's consent.
- AI-generated or manipulated "digital forgeries" depicting an identifiable individual in a sexually explicit, intimate or sexually suggestive context without that individual's verifiable consent.
- Other content that violates the rights of the depicted person under applicable law (e.g. right of publicity, image rights).
Copyright complaints should be filed per our DMCA / Copyright Policy. General Acceptable Use violations can be reported per our Acceptable Use Policy.
2. How to send a request
Email takedown@[ COMPANY NAME ] with the following information:
- Your full name and contact email (and, if you are a representative, the name of the individual you represent and your relationship or authorisation).
- A direct link, media ID, or other information sufficient for us to locate the specific content (e.g. URL on Creou or media library item ID).
- A brief description of the content and why it qualifies for removal (non-consensual intimate, AI digital forgery, etc.).
- A statement, under penalty of perjury or its local-law equivalent, that the information you provide is accurate, that the depicted individual did not consent to the publication of the content, and that you are the depicted individual or a person authorised to act on their behalf.
- Optional: any supplementary evidence (e.g. proof of identity, police report number) that helps us verify the request.
3. Our response
We aim to acknowledge valid requests within 24 hours and to remove or disable access to the reported content within forty-eight (48) hours of receiving a complete and verifiable notice, in line with the TAKE IT DOWN Act timeline. We will also make commercially reasonable efforts to remove identical or substantially similar copies known to us.
4. Bad-faith and inaccurate requests
Knowingly submitting a false takedown request may carry liability under U.S. and Danish law. We may decline or reverse a removal if we determine the request was made in bad faith or based on materially inaccurate information.
5. Children
Reports concerning content depicting minors are treated as a zero-tolerance matter. Suspected child sexual abuse material is reported to the U.S. National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), Danish authorities (Politiets Efterforskningssektion / Red Barnet hotline) and other competent bodies. Do not include any sexually explicit imagery of a minor in your email; describing the location is sufficient.
6. Other rights
This notice does not limit any other right or remedy you may have under Danish, EU, U.S. state, or other applicable law, including rights of publicity, defamation, and biometric-privacy claims.
